File not downloading

Hi we are creating a course on Microsoft Excel.... in one of the topics the student is required to download a Web Query file, which has the extension ".iqy". As usual, I have created a link to this file in my presenter slide and also added it as an attachment. However, when I publish the course, the file doesn't open and I get the following error:

404 - File or directory not found.

The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I have verified that the file exists on the server and the path seems to be correct. I can open all other files except these. Why is this happening? Is there a workaround for this issue?

Any help will be much appreciated. I need to fix this urgently as the course goes live in a couple of days!
