Finding audio files

Jun 21, 2018

Hello.  I built a course MANY years ago and it had built-in narration.  I've moved the files as I've gotten new computers and such and now I need to go make some edits and it seems that the PPT side has become disconnected from the audio.  It still expects it, based on the slide timing, but nothing plays.  I thought perhaps I could "connect" it if I knew what to look for and import those files as audio clips.

Any guidance/direction would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks.

There should be a matching ppta file. You can unzip that I located the audio. If you have the published version, the audio is going to be embedded in the .swf files. There are some applications you can search online that will extract media from .swf.

Here's a really old video tutorial I did of a product that may still be available.
