Finding files associated with a project

Apr 18, 2012

I have made a presenter project and included some flash movies with it.

At some point I wanted to change the movie that I was using so I deleted the slide, inserted a new one and added the new movie.  However when I preview the project I can see that the movie file I wanted to delete is still appearing.  This of course adds to the size of project which I don't want.  My specific problem is that I can't find the movie file once I have inserted it.  Is there an equivalent to the quizzes and engage interactions page where I can see all the files associated with the project and delete those I don't want?

Thanks

Hi Nóirín,

I'd recommend sending us your files so we can help get this sorted out. If you'd like to do that, please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Articulate Support - Upload Your Files for Review

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09, which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so I can follow up with you personally in the forums. And feel free to come back and leave your case number here so I can keep a close eye on it. Thanks!

Thanks for your help. Before I upload my files I realised that my query was a bit unclear. When I said that I can see the old movie that I had deleted when I preview the new project what I meant was that I can see Articulate saying 'unpacking old movie' as it's  preparing the preview.  The old movie doesn't appear in the actual preview but still seems to be lurking in there somewhere! That's why I was asking whether there was an  equivalent of the quizzes and engage interactions page. Is there such a page? Maybe it's not a problem and any files that were once associated with a resource appear in that preview small window that appears when it's packaging the slides for preview?
