Flash button location & size issues when published in Articulate

Jul 20, 2011

Hi, so im pretty new to Flash but created some custom buttons for our project. All the buttons function as required but there are some issues around location and size once published in Articulate. Oddly enough only some of the same buttons are affected.

So regarding location, I imported the buttons into Articulate and chose the same location, horizontal and vertical, for all. When published some buttons appear at the chosen location and others (only a couple) do not, even though they all are the same buttons. It doesnt matter if I try to re-position these buttons and re-publish again - still same issue.

Also, when the flash buttons are resized in Articulate and the project is published the results do not reflect these size changes, ie they return to their original size. Obviously we can resize the buttons in Flash as required but im wondering if its possible to do this in Articulate to save time, especially so those I work with and who dont have Flash can resize them on their own.

Any help appreciated

thanks

Gav

Hello Gav,

I'm pretty sure that I've gotten response from Articulate support that resizing Flash objects is not supported in Presenter.  I don't know why but it seems like I remember it at least used to be possible to do this, but not now.

I've also run into the position issue before, but I'm always able to adjust the position of the button on the slide so that it appears where I want it to in my published output.  You may consider submitting a case to Articulate for this issue...
