I have a .swf that I'm embedding in a ppt page. The swf includes some content that extends beyond the edges of the stage, and which shouldn't be visible to the user. When I embed in ppt the hidden content stays hidden, but when I publish, the content beyond the edges of the stage reappears.
I tried another approach - exporting as html, with the html file fixed to the dimensions of the flash file, and embedded as a web object. It means I have to copy extra files to the output directory after publishing, but it works.

Hi Andrew you need to mask your swf in your fla, its a known issue with articulate and inserted swfs
Thanks Phil
