If you're inserting a large Flash movie, it may take a while for it to completely load depending upon your system. If you're working off of a network drive, be sure to move your files to the local hard drive before inserting them.
If you continue to have problems, please give me additional details on your file including the following:
1. What's the file type of the Flash movie (SWF, FLV, or MP4)?
2. What's the size of the file?
3. Are there any special characters in the file name?
4. Is the path to the file greater than 256 characters?
It's likely that the software is incorrectly encoding the file. Can you try using a program like Articulate Video Encoder or FormatFactory to convert the file to FLV?
Can you try converting the video with FormatFactory? It sounds like the video was originally encoded with a codec that's not available on your machine or is proprietary. Thus, converting it to FLV with FormatFactory should resolve the issue.
The person I work with has articulate encoder and is not having any problems. The only difference I can see is that I updated to windows 7 and office 2010. Should I remove and redownload AE

I am using video encoder. It says that I need current windows media player and quick time (which I do) or possibly the wrong codec?
Can you post a screenshot of the error?

No go! Freezes right at the same spot.

In the subject field, put Attention Brian Batt and the file will come straight to me.
I'll investigate the issue further as soon as I receive the file.
