I created several interactions in Adobe Captivate 5.5 yesterday and tried to imbed one in an existing course to replace the old Flash movie. The existing screen had a large "X" on it but when I replace the file, the "X" no longer exists. When I try to preview the screen, it simply flashes like it is stuck; it does not advance through the rest of the slides.
I published the files in Adobe Captivate as Flash 10 and have the Flash Player 11 installed.
Thank you in advance for any expertise that you can share to help me solve this problem.
Are you just inserting the file, or embedding it as a web object? You'll need to follow these directions to embed it as a web object for Captivate 5 and later as it no longer supports ActionScript2. There is some additional discussion on this issue within this thread.
