Flash movie (swf) with hidden buttons
May 25, 2011
I am creating an interactive learning Flash movie. It has four hidden buttons that when you put your mouse over them will reveal themselves. In all the time line has ten frames. Everything works grand when you test it in Flash, publish it and open the swf on it's own and works a charm.
When you import it into Presenter, the first button works no problem, the other three do not. They do not even show the hand cursor to show there is a button there at all. I always design my Flash projects to have everything on separate layers so the button that works is on the eighth layer from the top actions layer.
Any ideas on why this wouldn't be working in Presenter and would be working in Flash would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michael
Have you reviewed the flash best practices

I would ensure you are using as2 a for it to work at all
hope this helps

Hello Phil,
Thanks for the link. Yes all best practices are followed.
can you post the fla? or the swf and I can test it.
I dont think this will have an effect but did you preview or publish in articulate.
It is often best to publish to test, I generally just use preview for layout

Hello Phil,
I published the file to test but still no joy. My company firewall won't let me post files. I'll post it up tonight when I get home. Thanks for the help.
