Flash videos in Articulate
Oct 02, 2012
Hi there,
I'm wondering if someone can help me/give me any advice on an issue I'm experiencing. At my job, we record live in-class training sessions and post the videos of the session later for anyone to watch. Since I started here, I wanted to publish these videos into Articulate and post them on our LMS in order for us to be able to track who watches them.
I published my first package the other day, and unfortunately it freezes. The video in it is an hour long. Do you think there is a solution for this, or is it just because the video file is just too large? In their FLV form they are approximately 262,694KB.
If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate your advice!! Thanks,
Brittany Major

Hey Brittany,
It sounds like your video is probably too long. Take a look here. Are you able to break it up into smaller pieces?
Thanks for your prompt response Peter.
I supose we could split them up into smaller pieces. The article you sent recommends 8 minute durations. Do you think it would be alright to still have them all in one course though?
Yep, you shouldn't have any issues with that. Let us know if it works out OK. Good luck
