Font display problems in Notes - Presenter'13

Mar 24, 2014

We are republishing trainings from 2009 and noticed that on all trainings and all languages, there is a display issue on Notes. The font is either blurry or doesn't have the consistent stroke.

Did anyone run into this problem in the past?

Hi Sue,

Sorry to hear that you're running into this issue as well.

I just checked the status of the ticket for this issue and it does look like this issue will be fixed with the next update. Though we cannot provide an estimate, we can confirm that the issue will be resolved with this update.

Please be sure you're subscribed to this thread. We'll share an announcement on our social pages as well as any forum threads connected to the issue.

Again, sorry for the trouble! Hopefully we'll have more news on the update soon :)

As for your other notes issue - can you provide some screenshots, a screenr screencast or more details on what's happening? Do they swap when previewing, after publishing, or after uploading to your web server/LMS?

Best,

Christine

Many thanks for your reply Christine and I look forward to the update. Strangely this didn't happen with some Studio 13 work I published in February (before update 2 was released).

Regarding the font swapping, it happens in all circumstances you mention - preview, after publishing and when launched from LMS. I will supply screenshots soon but these will have to be private - can you send me a link please?

Best wishes,

Sue

Hi Sue,

If that's the case, the issue may have been introduced with Update 2. Hopefully we'll have more information on that soon! :)

For the font swapping, you're welcome to share links to screenshots with me in a private message, or you can send them in as attachments through a support case. If you'd like me to look at them personally, please add the following to the case description:  ::Christine::

If you decide to submit the screenshots through a support case, it may also help to include an Articulate Package. This way we/I can look at the project itself.

Please also be sure to mention the case number here, just in case something happens and the case isn't assigned to me, or if you submit it to the support engineers and want me to take a look at the status.

Best,

Christine
