Font on notes page changes size

Feb 15, 2011

I have had a couple of incidences where the font size on my notes page in the “add narration” view auto changes to a much smaller size.  When I look at font for the notes in the regular view the font is normal size.  I have looked at the notes master page and all levels for the notes are the same size.  Any idea why this is happening or how to change it back to a readable size.

If you have a project that has this problem, I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.

Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/?p=457

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.

I have also had this issue, back in Storyline 1. A fresh install of Storyline 2 on a new machine hasn't done away with the issue yet. I leave all Notes in the Articulate font, at 11 points. However, once I close and re-open a .story, my font size for Notes changes to 7 points or 9 points. It doesn't occur in every .story or even every slide, but it's noticeable enough that my course reviewers are sending inquiries. I might try submitting a case as suggested.

Hi Jenda!

I do think that we would need to take a look at your .story file and sending via support will allow you to send securely. Please be sure to let us know the problematic slides when sending.

It sounds as if you may be reporting two different issues. Are you saying that you have the issue while working with your project file and there is a difference in your published outputs as well, or are your reviewers still looking at your project file? It also sounds as if you are not able to consistently reproduce the issue, which makes it difficult as well.
