Hey everyone. I'm having some problems converting my .mov file to a MP4 H264 file. I've attached an image to my settings below. I'm just getting white, though. It is a really short file that just plays white. Does anyone have suggestions, please?
Try changing every option to default that you can including video size, bitrate, FPS, audio sample rate and audio bitrate. Also, change the encode 2 pass to no.
Finally, download & install the K-Lite Codec Pack:
When installing it, always select the defaults. Do not change any of the settings that it recommends (just clicking next the whole time should work). Then, restart your computer & try to re-encode the file.
Brian, I did all that you said and also downloaded and installed the codec. I didn't click on any options when installing. I just kept hitting next. I'm still just getting a quite display of white and that's it.
Brian, should I send you my .mov and flash files and see if you can figure out what the problem is? If you can convert it just fine, then that means there's something wrong with my format factory, right?
Will do. Thank you very much Brian for taking a look at this. I really appreciate it! I have to head home after I upload the files to you, but I'll check back here tomorrow morning.
Hey Brian. I was wondering if you had a chance to look at my files, yet, and if you had figured out what the problem is. I'll be leaving work early today, so I may not be here in the afternoon, and then I won't be back until Monday.
I sent you an email regarding the issue yesterday. It must have gone to your junk folder. In any case, I just messaged my response via a direct message. Please respond there.

The full version should be fine.

Hi Tammy,
Can you tell me what program was used to create .mov file?
Flash CS4. I don't know how else to get my Flash files over to .mov.

Hi Tammy,
My guess is that there's something that Flash CS4 is doing to the files. Please ZIP the files & upload them here:

In the case subject, put Attention Brian Batt and the files will come straight to me.
The Transferring .mov file is 8.8 GB. I doubt that would transfer over. Should I just send you the .fla file only?
How big is the MP4 file that is created after you convert it in FormatFactory?
4 KB. The one that converted just fine that was in the regular MP4 format (not the H264 version) was 30 MB.
Can you upload the 30 MB MP4 file to me and the FLA file?
Will do. Thank you very much Brian for taking a look at this. I really appreciate it! I have to head home after I upload the files to you, but I'll check back here tomorrow morning.
