Full screen video at start-up

Oct 13, 2011

Dear all,

Being new on this forum I have searched but did not find a adequate answer to my question.

I would like to start up a presentation with a full screem video which automatically changes over to a presentation in presenter. This feature is allowed in PPT but doesn't work in Presenter after trying all the possiblities. The result is that after finishing the intro movie I manually have to start the second half of the presentation in Presenter.

Does anyone has any experience with this?

Thanks for thinking with me and a great forum for a great product.

Hi John,

Are you separating the video from the Articulate presentation?  In other words, are you importing the video into the first slide of your presentation?  If so, have you tried setting the Slide Properties to advance your presentation automatically?

Hi Brian,

I have received a solution from David Fair of support which I can live with and works good. It works fine now and beneath you will find a copy of his mail and the tutorial. Thanks for thinking with me.

Regards, John

Thank you for submitting your feature requests.  Your requests are being reviewed by our product development team.

In the meantime, you can insert a movie full screen (up to 980 px by 560 px) if you use No Sidebar or Slide Only view for that slide in Presenter (Slide Properties).  Then you can switch back to Standard view (with the sidebar menu) for other slides.  Please review the following video screencast for more information:
