Getting Error on Publish --

Dec 18, 2011

Hi Everyone -

Im finally ready to publish about 15 modules.

But when I go to publish, near the end of the process I get this error:

AppName: ap6.exe AppVer: 6.0.0.714 ModName: as32artcore.dll

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 001a1ee3

Anyone know what it is and what I can do about it?

thank you!

Hi Eye-D,

I've seen that error when users are working from a network or USB drive. You'll want to ensure that your presentation is located on your local drive. If that's not the issue, here are some other ideas:

If you have Avast antivirus installed, the publishing process may not complete. For more details on this issue, please see:
And I don't believe it's related to running Parallels, but here's a best practices article for any future troubleshooting you may need with that:

I am not using a USB or have avast installed.

It is publishing the modules I made just fine. But not publishing the ones someone else made.

The others were made on Windows 7 with PPT 2007.

I am running Win XP and PPT 2007, on Parallels. Could this be the reason?

I really need to find out what is going on!  I have about 10 modules that I need to publish! Thank you!

Hi Eye-D,

It's possible your installation of Parallels might be interfering. Did you have a chance to review our best practices for using Articulate with Parallels? Have a look:
