Height Differences in the Logo

Jun 16, 2014

Hi,

These are screenshots of two PPTs published in articulate on two different systems. Notice that the height of the logo on the two systems appear different. Each developer has used the same process of adding the logo and even the dimensions of the logo are same. Could someone help me out to resolve this height issue?

Hi there Suman,

It could be a couple of things. It might be the resolution on the machine, or it might be DPI settings.

I'd recommend checking the resolution on both machines - if they differ, the screen size will change the display size of content.

Here's information on DPI that may resolve the issue:

Articulate Support - Articulate Presenter '09 DPI support

^Though that article is for '09, it may still help if you're using '13.

Additionally, please make sure you're working with local files on both machines:

  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
  • You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names (this includes spaces and underscores).

Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.

Please let us know if you have any trouble with this, or any questions.

Best,

Christine
