I changed the file name for the PPT file and noticed the associated presenter file was automatically updated. However, when I try to preview the files I cannot acess most of the slides? Is there anyway to convert the pptal back into powerpoint?
Hi Aftab and welcome to Heroes! Take a look at the section in this article on how to restore the connection between the PowerPoint file and the PPTA file and that should resolve your issue:
Thanks Justin -- didn't work, but could be something I did on my end.
If I need change the PPT file name, what is the best practice for doing this? I don't have any audio yet, but my concern is not to lose the engage interactions
Aftab, best practice is don't change it. . Just joking with you. You might consider copying the file(s) to a separate folder first and then changing the name of the copied file so you will still have the original set to work from.

Thanks -- what about all the engage files should be copied over too? Or are they imbedded within the pptal file?
Using a "Save As" command from PPT can also work well.
