I desperately need help for a work project! I am using animated powerpoint templates and animated clip art in my presentation, but when I publish the animation is gone??
Are you referring to animations in master slides? If so, animations contained in the slide master are not supported in Articulate Presenter. You should create custom animations for each individual slide. If you are experiencing issues with your slide animations, a good place to start would be to refer to this blog entry.
While Presenter supports the vast majority of PowerPoint animations, it does not support them all. For a list of supported animations, please see this article. Thanks, and welcome again!
Related to this topic no matter what I do for a split animation the text is cut off in the middle once the animation finishes. the split animation is on one text which works properly but the second text does not.
Any hidden objects or images on your slide that may be causing that? If you'd like, we'd be happy to take a closer look at it. First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload. Thanks!
Carmen, I believe you're experiencing the same issue as with the "wipe" animation effect; that is, the last wipe animation on any given slide will not fully load. See here.
Basically the easiest workaround is to insert a tiny, throway object "off-screen" in powerpoint, and have it "appear" as the last animation of your slide. Ending the slide with a non-"wipe" animation causes the previous "wipe" animation to culiminate.
