Help with Old presenter 13 file

Hey there, I am trying to update an old presenter 13 file with narrations and video. The powerpoint if fine and the narrations are fine but as soon as I try to publish or import into SL I get an error report message which basically says presenter encountered a problem and may close.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated

I'm sorry to hear about the error and would love to help you find a fix.

A few questions  and tactics to start:

  • Which version of Storyline are you using? Click the Help tab, then About Storyline.
  • Is the PowerPoint file saved on a local hard drive?
  • Could you try these repair steps and let me know if that resolves the error?

Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate it.

So my problem was the old PPT ap13 files were saved as .ppt, when saved as .pptx, that fixed it. I should have spotted that faster but i gues I was looking for somthing more technical or related to flash or somthing. 

I'm a retired firefighter and we had this this old saying, try befor you pry meaning see if the door is unlocked befor you just kick it in ha ha.

After saving as .pptx it migrated to SL 3 just fine.
