I have a continuous playing video, but would like for the Outline to show various timestamps along with a brief description when it is published. This way the user can quickly jump to what is important to them. Is there anyway to make this happen?
I have done what you suggest but not using the Outline. It was a custom built Flash piece with an embedded FLV file. In the Flash piece, I had the timestamp markers attached to a menu using the FLV playback component. Which in turn was embedded into the slide using the Web Object option.
I can see if I can find it if you would like to try that.
I do not know of another way for the the Articulate player to talk to a video and jump around without using a modified player skin created with the SDK. Anybody think that is possible with the SDK? If so, I would like to see that as well!
Thanks so much for the response! I would love to see what you did if you are able to find it. I actually just purchased Storyline, but haven't had a chance to delve too much into it, but do you know if I could use that instead of Presenter?
Not sure about the Storyline angle, only have used the trial version as we are not planning on getting the full version. You might want to post the question over in the Storyline forum. I'm sure someone will chime in quickly. Fast and great group of people on all of these forums!
I'll look tonight and see if I can locate it and get back to you.
