Hidden Slide

Hi Tesa,

There isn't a way to make it appear viewed if the user didn't click on it and actually view the slide. Can you share more about the issues this is causing in your LMS if you're not tracking by slides viewed?

1. If the user does not click the “help button” this is what the screen looks like.

3. In our LMS when the user does not click the help button, the module does not send a complete status.

Tracking Quiz results and not the slides viewed. It is my understanding the at help button is a hyperlink.

No worries Tesa - it looks like you shared the same word document with the screen shots that you shared previously. You may want to look at testing the course at SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS testing. If you're tracking and reporting off the Quiz results slide, that should be what is passing your completion status vs. the user visiting all the slides. 

As far as it being a hyperlink, it's a hyperlink to a slide within the course, so if your LMS is tracking slide views, it'll still count as the same as a standard slide. 

Yes, works in the SCORM cloud.  So odd there are 20 modules and only 6 of the modules are doing this.  Thanks for your feedback.

No problem Tesa - and you may want to share the SCORM Cloud results with your LMS team to help them track down what the issue is. Additionally you could look at enabling LMS debug mode to see what information is being passed back and forth.  Perhaps having that will help your LMS tell you what element they're pulling from.
