hidden slides and player

Hi
I have a presentation that has 31 slides in it. I have hidden 8 of them. The hidden slides get hyperlinked to and then a returning link take the user back to the original slide.
So let us say slide 4 has graphics. User presses a graphic and goes to hidden slide 30. To get back to the course they press the icon and it takes them back to slide 4.
My problem is that the hidden slides are featured in the player as slide 30 of 31 for example. So if someone clicks from slide 4 they see they have gone to slide 30, I don't want them to see this.
Help please?

Hi Gary! Do you need the numbers or could you simply remove them? You can customize that in the player.
Hi Leslie. Thank you but I dont have the same icons as shown in the tutorial.
I have player templates, presentations options and help and support (top to bottom icons) and to the right is the preview and publish icons
