Hosting Video Through YouTube/Intranet

Aug 28, 2014

Hello,

We have a client that is having issues viewing a training course that has videos hosted through YouTube because their firewall won't allow YouTube content and they cannot whitelist the domain.

Would it be best to host the video through their corporate intranet? If so, is there a best practice for completing that process flow?

OR, what's the best way to embedd .mp4 files using Presenter. I tried it once but it seemed to slow down the course and look rather pixelated when I tested in scormcloud.

Thanks,

Ari

Hi Ari!

Articulate Presenter '13 supports videos from hosting sites, such as Screenr, Youtube, and Vimeo. Here's how to add website videos to Presenter courses. I'm not familiar with best practices for hosting videos on your intranet.

You can adjust the video properties during publish as shown here.
Perhaps someone in the community has some experience with this and will be able to offer suggestions/advice as well.
