Hotkey/Shortcut to exit Annotation Screen?

When I enter the Annotation screen, it takes awhile for Presenter to create the editing screen. During this brief time I can see two copies of the slide on my screen.  After a few seconds, the 2nd copy disappears and Presenter is ready to allow Annotation.  I noticed that if I do not move my mouse inside the second screen being created, when Presenter is ready to allow annotation, the mouse cursor disappears.  If I can exit and re-enter Annotation mode and put the mouse in the center of the screen I can avoid this problem.  This is NOT easy if the mouse cursor is invisible.

As, sometimes I do forget to put the mouse in the center of the screen when entering Annotation mode, is there a keyboard shortcut to close/exit the Annotation screen I can use instead?
