Does anyone in the community know how to add a poster frame to a video in Articulate? I have picture that I want to insert into the video frame that will appear before the video plays.
Have you tried positioning the image on top of the video and then setting up an exit animation so that the image disappears when the video starts? I think that would be the easiest way to achieve this.
Actually now that I think about it, the easiest thing to do would be to duplicate the slide and put the image on Slide 1 and the video on Slide 2. That way as soon as the slide transitions, the video starts.
On a side note I'd just like to point out that when you reply directly from your e-mail address your signature is appended to the end of your message. You may want to jump in there and edit out any personal information that you don't want to share with the community.
I am attempting to cover up the introduction of the video with the poster frame. There are titles in the video that are distracting. By adding a picture or poster frame I will be able to cover up the title.
I have a picture (jpeg) from the video frame that I can use. My goal is to take this photo and use it in a poster frame at the begining of the video when the narration begins, then transition to the video.
Do you have Articulate Replay? It may be easier to just use that, since you could insert an image and a video and then just republish to obtain a single file with both inside (see screenshot). If you don't have it, you can download a free, 30-day trial.

Thank you for the feedback. Would you provide me with the instructions on how to do what you described?

Hi Kenneth,
Are you able to share your file? It may be easier for me to help you if I can see exactly what you're working with.
Hi Allison,
I am not able to post the video.
