I've posted an Articulate presentation package in dropbox for my client's review. My client doesn't have Articulate, so how can she launch the program? She can extract the zip file, but can't do anything with the assorted pieces of the presentation file (other than view the PPT).
Inside the presentation folder, double-click on the presentation.html file, if you built it in '13, to launch the player. Be aware that any external links won't work when viewing the published files on a local machine. It's better to post the presentation on a web server and let the client view it that way. Or you could upload the presentation to something like SCORM Cloud (which is free) and have the client view it on that platform.
Thanks, Tim. Unfortunately, I'm using '09 and there's no presentation.html file. I'll look into SCORM Cloud, but my client has serious security limitations on her company's systems.
I stumbled upon a method that seems to work. Instead of posting the Articulate Package to dropbox, I copied the folder where the published version of the course resides. In that folder there's a "Launcher" file that I clicked on to launch the course. I'm waiting to hear from my client whether it works on her end.
