How do get audio playlist to loop without a pause between loops?

Apr 24, 2012

Hi all

I want to use a an audio track as a playlist for a slide. The audio is shorter than slide duration so in Presentation options I've selected "Loop playlist" so that the track plays for all the slide.

However, although this works, there are two things that happen which i need advice on:

  1. There is pause between the end of the first loop and beginning of the 2nd loop. I guess the system is taking a few seconds to  go back to the beginning before it starts to play again. Is there a way to loop the playlist without the pause? From user persepctive, it's a bit disjointed to have some nice background music playing to a slide of animation and then two thirds of the way through it stops for a while and then plays again.
  2. Once the second loop of the track plays, it doesn't actually stop when slide duration ends. It continues to play fully for the second time. So the last bit of the animation is on screen for about 30s longer than it needs to be when all i want to do is for next slide to appear. So question here is how do you get audio to play only for the slide duration time, even if you loop the track?

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Pam

Hi Peter,

Thanks for checking in with me.

Yes on way to getting this resolved. First issue resolve, the reason there was a pause between loops was because there was a fade out towards end of the track. Removing the fade out, gets rid of the pause.

Issue 2 still being investigated. Will post update on that when find out.
