How Do You Attach Multiple Files to the Same Slide?

Jan 10, 2012

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how to attach multiple files to the same slide? It's not obvious to me from the user interface, from the Articulate tutorial on attaching files, or from anything I can find.

Thanks!

Hi Peter,

I did not find that page when I searched eLearning Heroes. Can you please tell me where I should be looking to find this type of documentation?

If I can vent a little...I don't consider myself an unintelligent person, but using Articulate has made me feel like an idiot. I can't seem to do a lot of things the videos and documentation say I should be able to do and very little of this stuff is obvious to me from articulate's user interface. Am I alone in this complaint or have other people said the same thing?

I VERY much appreciate the awesome support you guys provide. I just wish I didn't have to bother you guys about it and could figure this stuff out on my own. Okay, vent over.

Back to the issue. It seems like from the documentation it should be easy to add multiple files. What I've been doing is adding the first PDF. Then I don't see a button that says something like "Attach More Files," so I clicked on the file path and see the button to the right with ellipses. I click on that again and try adding another file but this just overwrites the previous file.

Also, after I add the first file and click Okay, the window shuts down and I have to open it again. I'm guessing you should not have to do this after adding each attachment, so again, I must be missing something obvious.

???

Thanks,

Tracy
