how do you remove the side bar on the left of the slide

Sep 09, 2012

Hi There,

I am putting together a training module to load in LMS and i only want the slides and play/backwards/forward buttons at the bottom of it to show. Ive managed to remove the tabs for the slide numbers, notes, search etc, however every time i try and publish it i still have the blank side bar showing and it over laps the left side of the slides. I've tried heaps of different options in the player templates but just cant seem to get rid of the side bar?

Any help would be much appreciated !!

Cheers

Hi Adrian,

Yes i did uncheck all 3 boxes for the side bar section, I have actually worked out what I was doing wrong and that was not selecting the new template I had created when i went to publish the training as it defaults to the standard one.

I do however now have an issue with a different training module I'm trying to update which has an articulate engage slide in it.....so any help would be really appreciated !

I copied the files (power point, Articulate presenter, engage and quiz) from an online library we have to my desk top and made the changes to a couple of slides ( in Articulate presenter) and checked the quiz's (by opening quiz maker and locating the quiz files on my desktop). After publishing the training I have gone to review it to make sure the changes look OK and came across a blank slide, which turns out to be the Articulate engage slide. I thought i could just open engage and locate the file like i did with the quiz ones and it would default in, however when i opened it even though it has the correct slide name the image from the power point is gone and it's just a picture of grass blades and introduction and type your intro text here on it....   :(

Any chance you know why it is showing the correct information??

thanks for your help!

Hi Fleur!

If you'd like, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your project files to see if we can figure out what's going on. Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:
