How to download a published presenter files loaded into our FTP?

Jun 25, 2013

I am new at this so please bear with me if this seems like a stupid question - I work for a government agency in Australia. I have engaged an instructional designer who lives in the USA. She has developed a a number of eLearning courses for me. She has uploaded them to our FTP and I have downloaded it and saved them as zipped files on our networked system. The problem is when I open up the zipped file the only file in there is an art. file which I cannot open even in presenter. I have attached the error messages I am getting. Is there anything else we can do? Does the Instructional designer need to save the files differently or is to do with our firewalls at my end? I have also saved it on my desktop and still get the same error messages.

Thanks Leslie! I have another question - I am just working out the best way to manage content. Basically we have a number of modules that we want a particular user group to undertake which all link back to three subjects. What I would like to do is set it up so when the learner has completed one set of lessons they go back to the same launch page as the first training but can now access the next subject. I am thinking the only way to achieve this is by setting up an intranet page and having links through or alternatively publishing the training and then inserting the links back to the next branch of training, so the end user only sees the training returning to the launch page where they can now undertake the next training from?

Also, it appears that all the content is stored in a linear manner where it is just listed down the page in alphabetical order  - the only way to manage it is with tags is that correct? So for example I cannot set up one topic with content under it and then another topic with content under that? Kind regards, Karen
