How to hide slides from menu panel

Apr 11, 2016

Hi,

In articulate 9 we have an option called Hide in Navigational panel by right clicking on navigation title and we can hide the slide which we don't want to show them in menu after publishing.  Where is that option in Articulate presenter 13 ver.  Please help me with this.

Hi Nivas!

Want to hide a slide title from the menu? Just select the slide title in the menu, and click the Remove from menu button (the eye icon) below the menu. Hidden slide titles become italicized here in the menu editor, so it's easy to see at a glance which slides have been hidden. Slides you hide in the menu will still be part of your course; their titles just won't appear in the menu.

Tip: If you hide a slide that has indented slides below it, Presenter will also hide the indented slides.

Full details in this tutorial.

Hi Leslie,

After publishing the content to SCORM and uploading it to https://cloud.scorm.com it is showing the following error.  Please see the attached.  While doing SCORM I am choosing the option for mobile also and the cloud.scorm.com is showing error in the mobile folder only, please let me know how to upload to coloud.scorm.com.

Thanks

Nivas

HI Nivas,

If you are using the results slide as a part of your tracking to an LMS, you'll need to keep the slide in the course and the user will need to visit it to have the results submitted. You can look at hiding all the elements on the slide so that the user doesn't see them and you'll want to use the "eye icon" in the timeline to do so. You can also choose to remove the submit button from the one slide from the slide layer properties.

Hello there,

I am using Articulate presenter, not a story line and I am developing a training module which is module 3 and the other 2 modules also having freeform drag and drop quiz and if user dropping wrong answers and after submitting the button it is asking for retry or next if we click next button it is automatically showing correct answers in green which I am not able to locate in articulate presenter can some one give me the reason why?

Thank you for the response Leslie, we sorted out this issue with other options so it's no longer required any help,  but now we have another issue like "There have been many cases where users are completing the course but the content is passing status of Unsuccessful to the LMS, therefore preventing users from receiving overall credit for the requirement.  Can you please tell me why it would pass Unsuccessful.

Hey Nivas - Sorry about that! Total oversight on my part. Sometimes I just get Storyline on the brain because that's where most of our volume lies with support and assistance.

Here is the information you were looking for with Presenter '13 - because yes, we have a similar article for that :)

Hope that helps and again, sorry for my quick hand.
