My large company has mandated that Flash be disabled on all machines. This has presented issues with people being able to see my team's courses on Cornerstone On Demand. We may have to ditch Articulate for this reason and adopt another production tool. Are there solutions to forcing HTML 5 usage in a SCORM package?
Hey Matt - As Ann mentioned, if the course was published to allow HTML5 as well, then your courses should work. Please be sure that you are utilizing a supported browser as specified here.
Hi Ann - Thanks for popping in to assist. I just wanted to mention that replying to the forums via e-mail attaches your signature. You are welcome to edit if needed.
The problem is: even though it's published to HTML5, the consumers still can't access the content because they have disabled Flash on their systems. Is there a manually way to deleted the Flash content after publishing or manually edit one of the source files? This is a note I received from a colleague who has fixed the problem: "you need to change your source file and edit some of the code to not use the .swf initializer code." One of her crew solved the issue but she has not supplied me with the "fix."
Hey Matt - perhaps sharing the html5 file would help in this situation. It is not our recommendation and we do not support the modification of the published output. You would still need to be viewing in a supported environment as I shared above as well.

Matt...
In your environment, is republishing your Articulate courses using the option for HTML5 a possible solution?
All my best,
