I'm pretty sure you can do it with SL, but I'm not seeing how to do it with Presenter. Do what, you ask?
Hyperlink to a URL (which could be anything, even another Presenter presentation), but link to it in the same browser window. It seems to default opening a new tab/window.
The hyperlink options in Presenter are a bit more limited as you can see here. This functionality should be defaulting to the browser settings. There is not an additional option to 'open in slide' as there is in Storyline.
I will defer to the community on suggestions and perhaps someone has accomplished this previously.

No, not open in slide, open in the browser, but in the same browser window.
Thanks for the clarification Russ. I'm not aware of a way to do so.
