Hello Yaz - are you wanting to hyperlink to Slide 3, "Navigation Help"? From the parentheses around the slide number in the screenshot you posted, it looks like that slide has been hidden in PowerPoint. This would prevent the hyperlink from working when you publish, since any slides that you've hidden in PowerPoint won't display in your published output at all (even when a hyperlink points to them).

To unhide the slide, right-click the slide thumbnail in the left-hand column of your PowerPoint file, and select Hide Slide.

If you'd like to prevent your learners from seeing the slide in the sidebar of your course, you can hide it via Slide Properties like this:

  1. On the Articulate menu, select Slide Properties.
  2. Right-click the slide you want to hide, and choose Hide In Navigation Panel.
  3. You can also prevent users from seeing the slide when they click forward from slide 2, or backward from slide 4 by adjusting the Branching column in Slide Properties:  On slide 2, set the forward button to branch to slide 4. On Slide 4, set the previous button to branch to slide 2.

Hope that helps!

I'm having the same problem with hyperlinking to an Engage interaction, although my slide isn't hidden in PowerPoint (there's no bracket round the number).

When I try to hyperlink to a place in the document, the preview for the interaction I want doesn't appear - it's greyed out in the same way as above.

It works fine for other Engage screens in the same presentation. I've recreated the interaction a number of times and re-inserted it, but still the same problem.

Can anybody help?! Thanks!
