Hyperlinking shapes

Hello,

I have a slide in my presentation with 10 squares which I've hyper-linked to other slides in the presentation (see image). When they've completed that section, I've set up branching so when they click NEXT, they go back to the attached screen and pick the next report. 

I want to know how to mark each report as "complete" when they click on it?? I can't work out a way.
