I have hyperlinks that link to other pages within the presentation. When I view it in Powerpoint, the hyperlinks work. Once I publish and view it in Articulate, they do not work. How do I fix it?
Please make sure you're not viewing the project files locally. As I mentioned in the other post, this will cause some issues - this is pretty common for hyperlinks.
If you view a published Studio '13 or '09 presentation on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the article below for more information:
My professor asked me to publish and zip the file. I sent him the zipped file. After I hit publish, I clicked on view right after hitting publish and noticed the problem. I sent it to my professor and it did the same for him. (on both projects, both problems) I'm using studio 13
Correct - if you view published output files that you've zipped, you're going to run into trouble viewing those locally. If you haven't already, take a look at the tips I posted earlier.
If you don't have access to a web server or LMS for testing your projects, you could publish for CD. Just keep in mind that you'll want to make sure you and your professor both extract the ZIP file and run the .EXE file to view the course.
I am having the same issues as mentioned on this (and a few other) older posts. I am publishing to Review 360. As the posts I am seeing are all a bit older, can someone tell me if viewing on Review 360 is the reason my hyperlinks don't work?
There were several links that don't work when I tried it. For example on the slide with the TED talks (is that 6? Can't remember) the two talks and the book summary should be linked. But I just found out I might be converting that entire project into a storyline course. So . . . I'm going to hold off on it for now. Thanks.

Also, I wanted to be sure you knew you could import that content into Storyline if needed.
I am encountering a similar issue with hyperlinks. In an e-learning module that I am creating at work, the last slide in PPT has additional resources that learners access via links. One link is presented as (for example) "www.sap.com". However most of them are embedded links. When I publish the PPT into a module with Articulate Presenter, I can click on the former without any problem. However, I cannot click on the embedded links. The cursor does not change to a hand when I hover over the word with the embedded link. Does Articulate Presenter 360 not recognize embedded link? Is there something we have to do in PPT or in Presenter so that the latter will recognize them as links?
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
I reviewed the list of supported hyperlinks in Presenter 360. I am surprised that I am encountering this issue. The only difference between the link that I can click on and the ones I can is that the latter are embedded in the text. When I have used Adobe Presenter in the past, this was not an issue.
Given the proprietary nature of the content within the module, I was wondering whether it is possible for me to set up a Skype call with you and show you this issue and the other one I posted about.
If that is not possible, I would be willing to upload it and send it privately to you. Are you seeking the published file or source PPT file? The instructions for creating the Articulate package are for PPT 2013. I have PPT 2016. When I access the Publish button on the Presenter 360 ribbon, I don't see an option for creating a package. I see Review 360, Web, Articulate Online, LMS, CD, and Word as options.
Yes, you can share the project file, Presenter Package, for me to take a look.
An Articulate Package is a zip file that contains a copy of an entire Presenter project, including the PowerPoint file, the Presenter file with audio/video resources, quiz files, and interaction files. Here's how to create an Articulate Package:
Do one of the following, depending on your version of PowerPoint:
PowerPoint 2013 or Later: Go to the File tab on the PowerPoint ribbon, click Share, and choose Articulate Package.
PowerPoint 2010: Go to the File tab on the PowerPoint ribbon, click Save & Send, and choose Articulate Package.
When the Articulate Presenter Package window appears, choose a package location (i.e., where you want to save it). By default, the zip file will be created in the same location where your PowerPoint file is stored, but you can change it. Just click the ellipsis (...) and browse to a different folder.
Modify the optional package notes, then click Create Package.
When the Publish Successful window appears, you'll have an option to open the folder where the zip file was created. Click Close when you're done.
OK, I just uploaded the zipped version of the project. Thank your for the instructions above. I will be interested in learning what is behind the two issues.

I hope this helps!
I posted it on tempshare, but the links still do not work. Does that make a difference?
Hi Kristie,
Try to make sure that you don't have any pop-up blockers enabled in your web browser.
Can you share a link to the project you have uploaded to Tempshare? I've be happy to take a look and see if I experience the same thing.
Also, please let me know which web browser you're using to view the presentation.
Thanks!

Hi there, Kristin. Your hyperlinks should still work within Review 360. Is this happening in more than one browser?
Let me know if this particular file is the same one that you've shared with our support team previously, and we can have a look at this issue as well!
Hi Crystal,
It is the same course Gren is working on. Thanks!
Hi Kristin,
Thanks for letting us know. I took a quick look and noticed a hyperlink on Slide 6, but it worked as expected in the published version.
Is there a particular link you are running into difficulty with? I'd be happy to take another look.

Hi Ray and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Thanks for reaching out and sharing that you are running into an issue with your hyperlinks.
Here are the supported hyperlinks in Presenter 360. You should not need to do anything special.

Thanks, Ray. I'm taking a look.
