Hyperlinks Not Working

I am using transparent boxes over opaque boxes and text boxes. I only have the hyperlink attached to the transparent boxes. They are set to hyperlink to a different slide. I have tried looking for extra boxes that may be in the way in the selection pane, but I could find any. The links don't work in Preview mode, or in the LMS, they only work in Powerpoint. I have also tried setting the player to: Display at user's current browser size, optimal size, and fill screen. I also tried both settings in the player size option (scale or lock).
I am at a loss, please help. :)

Hi Jasmine!
Please be sure that you are utilizing a supported hyperlink option as explained here.
Is your shape grouped with the others? Are you testing the published output as previewing the content doesn't work as expected with hyperlinks. I know you mentioned LMS, but be sure that you are still not viewing this content locally, but accessing as your learner would.

Hello!
Thanks for your help.
So, hyperlinking to a specific Slide number isn't an option, but we have to select "Next Slide" or one of the seven in the link you gave?
The shapes are not grouped together. I published it in the LMS and registered myself as I would a learner.
Jasmine
Yes, if you are not utilizing one of the supported Presenter options that would explain why it works in Powerpoint, but not Presenter.
My manager says he has linked to slide numbers in a lot of his courses and they work fine. Is this new?
Are you linking to a hidden slide perhaps?
No. I see slide title on the list. I will rename them in Slide Properties.
If you need me to take a look, you are welcome to share your Articulate Package here as well.
I am awaiting a reply to see if I am allowed to send it.
I tried renaming the slide titles, but the title doesn't change in the hyperlink dialogue box in powerpoint. So, when I go to hyperlink, it still shows the Slide Numbers.
If you cannot share in the forums, you can share here privately if that helps :)
Hi - We discovered it's a version issue. After upgrading to Articulate Presenter '13, we are no longer able to have it link wherever we'd like. The courses that work were created in the previous version. I think it was 9? Did you mean to take away that capability?
Just to explain... we had 6 click-able links on a slide and we wanted each link to go to six different slides. The slides were created in PowerPoint. No matter what we set it to in PowerPoint, the Branching column in the Presenter Slide Properties says Next, Previous.
Hi Jasmine!
It would be helpful to be able to check out your course.
Have you tried to re-link since you updated your course?
I am able to accomplish the task you refer to and I will attach my course so that you can take a peek.
Here is a course.
Hi Jasmine! Yep, looks like you just needed to update your links. Your file is attached.
thanks! what do you mean by "update?" When I go edit the hyperlink in the original file, the correct slide is highlighted.
Looks like the format was pulling from the previous version though. I deleted that link and when you add a new hyperlink, you can see that the format is completely different. I do believe that's the issue that you were running into.
So, I should delete all of the hyperlinked transparent boxes and reinsert them?
If you mean just re-link, yes :)
It's still not working. :( I removed all of the hyperlinks, saved the file. Closed PowerPoint. Reopened, and inserted the hyperlinks. Saved and previewed. The one you sent me works in preview mode, but mine doesn't.
Are you able to insert hyperlinks in any other projects or are you just having difficult with this one?
If it's just this file, perhaps there is some corruption that you can correct by utilizing a new file:
Note: Articulate resources, such as audio and video, will need to be inserted again into the new presentation. You may need to export the narration from your original presentation, then import it into the new presentation.
If you are having problems in general, I would advise that you conduct a repair of your software.
I tried, and it didn't work in the preview, but would it not work in the preview? The test you sent me did.
Hi Jasmine! I would publish to test properly as hyperlinks may not work as expected durin preview.
