I'm developing a course that I want the participant to be able to freely navigate based on three selections that represent information they need to review. How do I design the course so that after they complete each section the icon is no longer visible so they know what is left to complete? I know I've see an explanation for how to do this but I don't know what the technique is called.

If someone can view the three sections in any order there really isn't a way out of the box that I can think of that would allow you to change the icons because you never know which of the three sections they have already viewed. Like if they view section three third or last, you won't really know so while you could take away that button after viewing that section, you wouldn't know if they viewed the second or first section yet.

That is what I just realized after putting pencil to paper. I could have sworn I saw this done by Tom Kuhlman.
