IE to Edge - issue with attachment

Hi,

My client has the following issue: Pls note the courses are built in studio 360.

"We are using the AICC wrapper for a Document.  The document, a PDF, includes a link to an internal web page.  When launched using IE the link open within the wrapper.  This is the desired functionality.  When the item is launched using Edge, the new web page opens over top of the lesson, effectively closing the lesson.  The user must relaunch the lesson before clicking on the “Agree” wrapper button.

See Screenshots below. The first is what the user sees at lesson launch. The second shows how the lesson continues in IE after the link is clicked. The third is what happen using Edge. Is there a way to configure the Edge browser to enable the link to open inside the wrapper as it does when using IE?
