I am trying to imbed a screenr video into a presentation that I have within presenter 09. It is working fine however, I would like all of the navigation tools to show up when an end user is watching the video. (Pause, Stop Start, etc) I noticed in your forum all of Screenr video's have the navigation tools but mine do not. I am imbedding my video by using the flash movie option into a power point. Please let me know if there are different ways to imbed the video in order to ensure the navigation elements are present for end users to see and use.
Thank you, I was able to almost get this to work the way I would like for it to look. The only issue is that it is showing the complete screenr page not just the video itself. (attached picture). I was struggling at first to get the url to work so it maybe the actual url that I am using. Please let me know what will allow me to only have the video embedded into my power point and not the entire screenr page.
Hi Michelle! Just curious, did you follow the steps in the link that I sent you?
Specifically this:
Enter the Web Address(URL) for your Screenr video using the following format (replacevideo_idwith the actual ID for the video from step 1 above): //www.screenr.com/embed/video_id
Yes, I tried the exact web address that you gave me above with a video id link from a screencast that I created. That is where I had issues, it was stating that I did not have a screen cast to view (I tried 2 different screen casts just in case). So that is when I embedded a different link (obviously that is where my issue lies) bda.viewscreencases.com/video_id.
So I guess my bigger issue is that when I use the link that you gave me above when I test the link it does not send me to a video but states that I do not have a video to view. I actually tried a 3 digit video id and the complete id link (long link with a bunch of letters and numbers)
I have tried a complete link (see attached screen shot) and shortened down the link with only the first 4 letters (see attached screen shot) and neither work. However, if I use bda.viewscreencast links then it will play the video but it shows the entire screenr page.
I can't see the full length of the address. Can you pull the Screenr up on the webpage...one that you know works...and copy/paste the link to me so that I can see if it works for me?
Yes it does and I apologize. I did not realize that you had a Screenr Business Account. You actually obtain the Embed Code from your browser. It will be a link to the right of your Screenr. We do not actually support this in our forums here though, so should you need further help please use this link. Sorry for the confusion!
Unfortunately, the e-mail that I had been sent from screenr to choose a password the link is not working (this is not my day) should I reply back to the e-mail that was sent or can you help?

Hi Michelle! Your best bet may be to add it in as a Web Object. You can see how to do that here.

I just want to make sure that we're on the same page. The link I posted above was the 'format' to use.
Can you see this link:
https://player.vimeo.com/video/204933692
So, that translates to: //www.screenr.com/embed/gNZ8
yep,
I have tried a complete link (see attached screen shot) and shortened down the link with only the first 4 letters (see attached screen shot) and neither work. However, if I use bda.viewscreencast links then it will play the video but it shows the entire screenr page.
here is the other image just in case
PS - i was recreating the page for you...I did type embed correctly.
You read my mind Michelle! LOL

No ma'am! That's out of my realm, sorry!
