Is there any way to have a transparent background when inserting video (flv) in Presenter '13? Because .flv's show up with a default black background and .mp4's with white background when imported into Articulate Presenter '13.
When inserting a video or a Flash (SWF) file into Articulate Presenter, you may find that the placeholder image in PowerPoint is a white, black, or transparent rectangle. Although it'll work as expected when you publish, it can be difficult to see the placeholder while you're developing your course. Here are a couple suggestions to make the placeholder easier to select.
Thanks for the quick response. This .flv video a has transparent background but when I tried to insert it in presenter '13 and publish or preview it, I can see that the placeholder is black instead, it should be transparent. Is there a way to change this into a transparent background/placeholder instead of black? Thanks.

Did you find a solution for this issue? I am facing the same problem at work. We were using Articulate Presenter 09 to develop online courses and now we have upgraded to Presenter 13 to be able to publish content that can be seen on tablets and smartphones. However, all our courses had in slide videos with transparency and now they all have a black background instead. I would appreciate if you could help me.
FLV alpha channel transparency is supported in Flash and Articulate Mobile Player output for Articulate Studio '13. However, FLV movies in HTML5 output are encoded as MP4 movies, meaning alpha channel transparency won't be maintained in HTML5 output.

Hi Franceley!
Have you published the content yet?
