Hi,
Does anyone know if/how you can force your videos with in an articulate slides to have a controller bar, that is separate to the slide controller bar? I've read in other feeds that you embed youtube players and make use of the controllers with in those videos, however I wonder whether the same could be done for an imported FLV? Where you can use video controls stop, start and pause the video.

Hi Gavin. If you have Articulate Engage, you could use a Media Tour interaction.
Hi Justin,
Thanks for the reply, however I'm not sure an engage feature is what i quite need. Basically our client has a template and they want video to be imported and placed on the centre on the slide with text and images around it. This is why there's a need to have the video controls. Can this be done?

Gavin,
When I have had a similar issue, I have used SwishVideo to convert the video to Flash, which allows you to add a custom player to the video file. Swish cost about $50.
Hi Ron,
Thanks for the suggestion, do you have a working example that i can see?

I have attached a basic video, where I have added a Control Panel with SwishVideo. This particular controller is called "Gray Matter" - but there are several customizations available -
