I am working for the first time in in Studio 13; I worked in 09 years ago before Storyline came out. I recorded narration on my iphone 4 yesterday (m4a files) for this lesson and inserted the files in the presentation and in engage interactions. The narration on the presentation slides will not play and does not even appear as waves in the audio editor. I converted one to a WAV file and the problem persists. However, the m4a files in the engage interactions are playing and DO show up in the editor.
I tried all of those steps already but thanks for the suggestion. I have recruited two teammates to test the same presentation. My co-worker was able to import all the audio files and play them without any problem. He sent the presentation back to me but I still cannot play/view/edit the audio.
The only other idea I have is to uninstall/reinstall or repair my presenter softwar (or the entire package). What are your thoughts on that?
Leslie is out today, so I just wanted to pop in and offer some thoughts. If your colleague is able to view and test the audio, have you looked into if there are any other differences in terms of your set up and his (Office versions, file location, etc.)?
If you're not able to isolate any differences that could be interfering with this, I'd suggest going ahead with the repair of Presenter '13.
