Inconsistent line & paragraph spacing...?

Jan 29, 2016

Hi -- Articulate Presenter 09 & PowerPoint 2010. I have a bullet-point slide which, despite supposedly all lines having the same line and paragraph spacing (and font size), displays differently spaced lines & paragraphs in Preview.  I have checked for random, not-visible differently sized spaces, paragraph returns and super- and sub-scripts.  There are none.  In PPoint the slide displays fine.

Any help?  Thanks.

Hi, John -- So sorry to hear of your difficulties! Could you please provide your Articulate Package so I can do some testing in Presenter '09 for you?

You may also want to check out this information and run through the repair in step #2, and also be sure that you are testing your published output for functionality in the intended environment.

Hi, John -- If the file is too large, you may want to pare down a copy of your course to only includes a few slides that exhibit the behavior you are describing. And in the interest of getting you the assistance you need as quickly as possible, I would recommend that you use this form to send your Articulate Package to our Support Engineers for further review. :)

Hello Christie -

I have enclosed an Articulate Package with 2 of the problematic slides. Interesting wrinkle - one of the problems I am having is some slides cropping the last line, or right edge of a text box when previewing, but not in PowerPoint. However, when I copied these slides into a New PPt file, that problem went away. When I copy those (now seemingly good slides) BACK into the original PPt, the problem re-appears.

The included slides (as well as the slides mentioned above) still are exhibiting inconsistent line/paragraph spacing.

Hi, John -- Many thanks for your patience, but I seem to be running into a variety of issues when attempting to test your file.  When I attempt to preview your file, my Presenter '09 keeps crashing despite running all recommended repairs, etc. And when I am able to publish your file, I am also not able to upload it successfully on tempshare.articulate.com for testing.

If you are able to share your last name, I can look up your contact information in our ticketing system and create a support case on your behalf if you'd like. Otherwise, I will need to recommend that you use this form to reach out for further investigation.

Jeez, you're having even more problems than I am! I am able to unzip the Articulate package and open the PowerPoint again (PowerPoint 2010). Have not been having any publishing issues, just the text issues described...

Full name, below. (And thanks for your efforts!)
