Every time I try to insert a video into my presentation (from a file into the slide), I receive an error message that allows me to e-mail to Articulate. I have now tried this a dozen times but I keep getting the same error message. I have sent the error message e-mail to Articulate.
Hey Brian - my case number is 00414106. I am wondering if the format of my videos is the issue? flv files? However, they were instered before...Thanks!
Vira was able to offer me some advice that resolved the issue - the ppt file was corrupt. This link contains instructions on how to fix a corrupt PowerPoint file:
Wish that were the case for me--just a corrupted file. I have experienced the same issue this week all of a sudden. Seems to happen even on a new, fresh PPT. After 'repairing', and then uninstall/reinstall the entire Studio 13 suite, all with no luck, I have submitted a case (00414715).
If the issue is found to be with our software, then yes, it is shared with our QA Teams. Filing cases and working towards resolution with support will insure that these things get reported if needed.
Hi Wendy! I do not have an update on Bob's situation as it's a bit dated and was way back related to Update 3/4 of our software and we are now on Update 7.
Can you tell us a bit about the error you are experiencing? Is it the same as reported here? Does it only happen with one video file? Does this happen in any project, or just one in particular?
I'm experiencing the same thing Bob did. Couldn't bring in an mp3 file, thought it might be corrupt PPT file, started a fresh one, tried again and same error message. Any solutions available? I'm using Update 9: 1702.2417

I have posted this forum question, submitted a case and have sent several of these error message e-mails, and have yet to receive a response.
Hi Paula,
I apologize for the issues that you're having. What's your case number?

It seem that corrupted files are happening so often with Articulate... Is the developers are working on this issue?
I've never seen any software that corrupt files as often and so easily... You can't imagine the time we put just to ask support...

Hi Dan,
This discussion is quite a bit older, so it'd help to start with new information from you, as I don't see any updates from Bob either.
Could you share the MP3 file so that we can test it out?
