Inserted video plays back fast

It's been years since I've used the Articulate PowerPoint plugin that I think is still called Presenter. When publishing the project, an mp4 video I have inserted plays back at a faster rate than the original mp4 file. I cannot find where playback speed could have changed.

Let's see if we can narrow down what might be causing this playback issue. A couple of questions for you:

  • May I ask how the video was inserted into the presentation? Was Presenter used to insert the video or PowerPoint's interface? 
  • Also, is the video file stored on a network drive? 

I look forward to hearing more as we continue to figure out this snag!
