Inserting a .swf file that contains a slidelet
Feb 17, 2014
Occasionally, I enhance my presentations by inserting into a slide a .swf file developed from Captivate. The process has always worked well.
Today, I created a .swf file that has a video inside a slidelet. During the time of inserting the .swf file into Presenter 2013, the insertion dialogue box shows the .swf file working as programmed. Upon completing the insertion, the result show that the slidelet is not carried into the insertion.
Would you suggest a work around here? This technique allows the inclusion of more than one video in a slide in Presenter. It would be a wonderful time-saving innovation.
Thank you,
Djoma

Hi Jose and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
I'm going to send you a PM so that you can upload your file for us to take a look at. I think making sure that your .swf file meets our Flash guidelines as shown here is the first step.
Thanks, Leslie. I read through your recommended 'read link: Flash Movie Best Practice'. Look's like my .swf file complies. I used Captivate 7 which uses Action Script 3.0.
How do I share the file with you?
Hi Jose! I sent you a Private Message here in our Forum Community. You should see an 'Inbox' towards the top of the page, where you can find the message from me.
Thanks, Leslie.
I just uploaded the files as instructed.
Thanks!
