Inserting a web object in presenter

Hi,
I wanted to show some (huge) tables in an excel sheet so, I created a screencast/video (without audio) using Articulate Storyline and inserted that as a web object in PowerPoint.
The main purpose of using Storyline was to include the zoom-in feature to focus on specific data/calculation.
I disabled all the controls on this video including prev/next/seekbar/menu/others.
Now, when I publish this ppt in Presenter and try to pause the video from the presenter player, it does not pause and continues playing because of which my syncing gets messed up.
Would like to know if this is a known issue or is there a workaround or am I doing something wrong?

The presenter player cannot control the web object as it is a separate object. The presenter player controls have no knowledge of what is happening in the web object. You'll have to add the player controls back into the screen cast for any control over the imported web object.
