Inserting an swf as a web object

Mar 27, 2013

Once upon a time (before Storyline was even born) the amazing Articulate community had a tutorial on inserting a web object. Two distinct methods were provided. One was successful, the other not so much.

The successful method tutorial provided the script to modify in notepad.

Could anyone direct me once more to those directions?

We have an swf (PPTX animations saved as a video so the animations can be retained) that must be inserted into  every elearning course. We'd sure like to learn how to do it properly.

Hi Crisa,

The only related posts or tutorials I can find on this are for Captivate videos. I'm not sure if this is what you're referring to though.

Articulate Support - Adding Adobe Captivate movies to Articulate Presenter (uses the web object option)

A similar method using Web Objects to embed Captivate movies in Presenter is described in this article.

I'll try to do some more digging around. If one of those works for you, or if you happen to find the original article, please let me know.

Thanks!
