I am a newby to this site and am totally excited to have found it!
I am building a CBT through Articulate and want to incorporate my Oracle UPK ( see it, try it, do it) for more iteraction from the learner. I was told that this was possible. However, I have been unable to locate a "how to".
How do you plan on using Oracle UPK with Articulate? Are you wanting to share assets like the PowerPoint files, quizzes, and Engage interactions? Or you simply using Oracle UPK as a server to host the published Articulate files?
Thank you Brian for the quick response. Actually, I will be using the UPK for the user to watch the action and then actually try the steps themselves within the CBT. I have seen this format presented in the past and was quite impressed with it. Unfortunately, I am not as savvy as others and I get lost in the help section of the UPK and the Oracle website.
The UPK will not be the server. It will be uploaded into our company learning server. I beleive it is a LMS.
My goal is to have the learner be able to interact with the application while in the CBT and not just look at screen shots and hear voice overs.
I'm not exactly sure how UPK allows your end-users to interact with software. However, it sounds like you'll need to use web objects to accomplish this:
I realize this is an old post, but do you know if Terri was able to resolve this issue and how she did it? I too have files from the Oracle UPK application. I would like to create a course in Storyline to take advantage of the quiz features (UPK's quiz features are not very robust) and link to index.html page of the UPK materials. Also, there are lms files associated with this. Will those files "fight" with the files created by storyline?

Hi Teri & welcome to Heroes,

Brian:
Just another thought. I think I will actually have to attach a link to the UPK within Articulate. I am not sure how to do that. Am I making any sense?
Hi Teri,

Thanks Brian:
I will look at this link and play around with it. It may be simpler to construct this way than the way I am thinking.
Brian,
