iPad access - quiz freezing in Articulate Studio '13

Hi,

We have a student using articulate on an iPad; not using any browser only the iPad version. They resumed after it first locked up and it took them back to the same question. It does not want to load the next question but rather just freezes up at this point. They have tried again several times.  They have been accessing the presentations from home and have had no pertinent issues with previous months.

The embedded quiz works fine on my computer and a colleague's computer.  Wondering if it is an iPad issue...Any advice would be much appreciated.  Not having an iPad myself, I'm at a bit of a loss for ideas!

Hi Michaela.  That's a little frustrating.  Let's see if we can nail down what's going on.  When you say they aren't using any browser, are they launching the course through the Articulate Mobile Player?  Also, is this a course that connects to your LMS?  If so, I'm going to share this information on tracking courses on mobile devices as a reference.

I would be interested in doing some testing on our end to see if we can replicate the issue and notice anything off.  Would you be able to share your presenter package with us?  You can use the Add Attachment button in your reply.

Hi Crystal,

 

We use Articulate Online and have ticked all the relevant boxes regarding Android use and HTML5 when publishing.   I assume it is launching through the Articulate Mobile Player as the tick selections should enable a prompt first time accessed, isn't that correct? I've read that this is an on-going issue with others in the Articulate community, which still appears to be unresolved.

I've already contacted support@articulate.com regarding the freezing issues - and given the necessary permissions to access.  Just awaiting their reply now.
